Zzyzx Imaging is based on Harbor Island in San Diego. We laser scan homes and buildings across San Diego County and deliver point clouds, as-built drawings and Revit models in your own template, so your design starts from what's really there.

All of San Diego County, every week: Downtown, La Jolla, Point Loma, Mission Hills, North Park, Kensington, Coronado, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Carlsbad, Oceanside, Rancho Santa Fe, Poway, Escondido, La Mesa, El Cajon and Chula Vista. We also cover Orange County, Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara.

The Remodel-Ready As-Built Package
Our main service for San Diego architects: one site visit with a Leica RTC360 and/or NavVis MLX, a registered point cloud and virtual tour about 3 business days after the scan, and an existing-conditions model in your Revit or SketchUp template. Accuracy follows the USIBD Level of Accuracy scale: LOA30 point cloud and LOA20 model by default, with a registration report and deviation map on every model. Delivery dates vary with the size of the building and are set in each proposal.

San Diego questions
Do you scan homes in San Diego?
Yes. Single-family remodels are most of our work, from La Jolla and Point Loma to North County and the South Bay. There is no minimum size.
How soon can you scan?
We book the scan with about 5 business days of notice after the deposit, and often sooner in San Diego because we are based on Harbor Island.
What do I get?
A registered point cloud, a virtual tour and, if you need it, an architectural Revit, SketchUp or CAD model with plans, elevations and sections in your template.
How do I get a price?
